Purpose
This social enterprise, 11 years in operation, produces ethically-made sewn and knit accessories, such as hats, t-shirts, bags, and stuffed animals, for sustainable brands across North America. As a member of the World Fair Trade Organization and the Freedom Business Alliance, it has been recognized for its commitment to social impact. Nearly half of the staff come from marginalized backgrounds, including survivors of human trafficking and bonded labor. The company’s mission is to foster holistic life transformation through dignified, living-wage jobs and a Christ-centered environment that promotes healing, stability, and growth.

Skills

The company is seeking an experienced business leader to work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to drive future growth and Kingdom impact. With over 300 employees, the leadership team is small, making this role a combination of CFO and CPO responsibilities. The leader will oversee accounting, HR, and staff development teams, working alongside the CEO, Director of Operations, and Director of Business and Product Development. Strong financial management skills and people leadership are essential, as well as a passion for developing leaders in the Accounting and HR departments. A commitment of at least three years is expected.
