We deployed to Senegal in the fall of 2026 to serve among the least reached and most vulnerable. During our initial season, a significant emphasis will be placed upon language and cultural acquisition, equipping us for effective long-term ministry.
We will be involved in ministries serving marginalized communities, including the deaf and other vulnerable children. Our role will include supporting the administration of a school and dormitory for Deaf students, contributing to ChildCARE Plus initiatives, and assisting in outreach efforts in partnership with the National Church that provide practical care, healthcare support, and opportunities for discipleship. Through teaching and education, we also seek to strengthen individuals and communities for long-term impact.
We have both spent our lives in service - Darren in pastoral ministry for over 26 years, and Elizabeth as a Registered Nurse for over 30 years. Throughout these years, God has shaped our hearts through a variety of roles in church leadership, pastoral care, teaching, and healthcare, giving us a deep desire to serve both spiritually and practically.
