The Pentecostal church in Argentina is growing rapidly with over 5,000 established churches. Despite such widespread growth, Argentina Assemblies of God has only three Bible colleges to train students for ministry.
In response to this, I, along with my wife Cecilia, am returning to Argentina, my country of birth, to become the president of the Instituto Bíblico Mediterráneo, in the city of Córdoba. Due to certain circumstances, the ministry school has seen a significant decline in student attendance. My desire is to infuse new life into the school and provide fresh vision that is missional in focus.
I want to help develop a culture that focuses on sending missionaries from Argentina to especially restricted access countries and to train church leaders to plant more churches throughout Latin America and beyond.
I will also be seeking to establish lasting relationships with church leaders throughout the province of Córdoba, to stress the need for formal theological education.
My wife Ceci and I have been in ministry for over 30 years, starting first in Argentina. For seven years, I held the position of academic dean at the Mediterranean Bible School in Córdoba. In 2001, the Lord called us to Ontario, Canada. For the next 20 years, we pastored two churches in the city of Mississauga. During that time, we also travelled to Latin America and the U.S., teaching at various conferences and Bible Colleges. From 2021-2023, we served as RAN global workers in Central Asia. We have three amazing children: Neiel, Eytan, and Abdiel.
