I serve as Director of Missions for Pentecostal Assemblies of God Uganda. My mandate is to further develop the denomination's missions sending—particularly as they take steps towards global missions initiatives. I sensitize leaders about missions. I equip cross-cultural workers to go. I mobilize churches to send. The ultimate goal is to add Ugandan workers to the global missions force making Christ known to the least reached—in Africa and beyond.
My ministry has always had a cross-cultural focus. I felt a call to missions shortly after I came to Christ at age 19. I first served in China, using ESL as a vehicle to share the gospel. Before beginning ministry in Uganda, I pastored a First Nations church in Canada for fifteen years. God's passion "that all may hear" continues to shape and drive my ministry. God marked me with this passion early in my ministry, as I shared the gospel with people who had never heard the name of Jesus. The impact remains fresh.
