Purpose
Grace International School (GIS) is seeking a visionary and experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the school. This role ensures the effective management of human resources, finance, operations, and stakeholder engagement while upholding the mission and values of the institution.
The CEO will collaborate closely with the Board of Directors (DexServe), senior leadership, and key stakeholders to drive excellence in education and administration. This position requires a dynamic leader who can navigate the complexities of an international school setting while fostering a strong, faith-based, and professional work culture.
Skills
The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Education, or a related field and at least 10 years of senior leadership experience in education, nonprofit management, or business administration. They must demonstrate strong leadership skills, the ability to manage complex operations, and a proven track record of strategic planning and execution.
Candidates should possess financial expertise, including budgeting, fundraising, and resource management, as well as human resources experience in recruitment, staff retention, and performance evaluation. Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with diverse stakeholders, including international organizations, expatriate and local staff, and the broader school community.
Cultural competence is a key requirement, with prior experience working in multicultural environments. The CEO must be familiar with legal and compliance frameworks related to employment, taxation, education policies, and international school operations.
Additionally, the role demands problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach to crisis management. Proficiency in modern business technologies and data-driven decision-making will be advantageous in ensuring operational efficiency and organizational growth.
